Addyson Miklos was born in southern Illinois; since then, her life has been shaped by living in different states throughout the Midwest. Whilst navigating a nontraditional career in museum education, she found herself captivated by storytelling in various types of media. She has written and developed a visual novel as well as short stories. Additionally, she served as a foundational co-chair of education in the Women in Technology of the Heartland volunteer group. Driven by her perspective as a queer woman, her writing aims to explore different combinations and nuances of love, gender, and dread.
As an author, she now endeavors to share the story Twin Flames with her audience. Part One examines a dystopian society where the gender roles are reversed. She evokes the seemingly delicate nature of a Regency Era-esque community to contrast with oppressive themes. She is currently working on the exciting conclusion in Part Two. She plans to bring Twin Flames to the public by 2027.
